Description
-----------
1. The Windows NT 3.51 Resource Kit's Process Resource Monitor
(PMON.EXE) command line utility did not display the Image Name
   field correctly.
   [From Hotfix SE17B023]

2. Using a NetWare login script to attach to remote file servers
(using the ATTACH or MAP directives) could result in
connections being leaked each time the user logged off.
Each connection uses a fixed amount of paged and non-paged
memory, as well as network resources, that are eventually
depleted to the point where the system can crash
unpredictably or fail in attempts to make new NetWare
   connections.
   [From Hotfix SE17B029]

3. A very large user load, as well as registry-intensive
applications, caused a blue screen. The problem that was
brought to light by this blue screen was related to heavy usage
of the registry API, specifically the RegNotifyChangeKeyValue()
call. Heavy use of this API uncovered a race condition in
structures within the Windows NT kernel.
   [From Hotfix SE17B030]

4. Under normal usage, a race condition in the controlling data
structures of the Page Pool Allocation could cause a trap in
   both NWRDR.SYS and NTKRNLMP.EXE.
   [From Hotfix SE17B033]

5. User profiles would not be flushed from the Registry when
users logged off. This was logged as the following event in
   the Event Viewer application:

   Event ID: 1008
   Source: Winlogon
   Type: Error
Description: "Failed to unload the profile for user <username>."
   [From Hotfix SE17B035]

6. The NWRDR.SYS could cause a system crash (BugCheck 0x1E) when
clients used the IPX protocol for processing certain requests.
The BugCheck parameters from such a crash would be similar to:

   STOP 0x0000001E (0xC0000005 0xF2E7156F 0x00000000 0x0000004D)
   [From Hotfix SE17B035]

7. With the release of Service Pack 5B, a change was made to the
NetWare redirector that affected the sharing flags set by
16-bit programs that were accessing files on a NetWare server.
Due to sharing problems caused by the change in SP5B, this
hotfix removes that change and reverts to the original
functionality of the base Windows NT Netware redirector.

During testing of this hotfix, it was discovered that Windows NT
does not have the equivalent of the DOS/NetWare AR_COMPATIBILITY
flag, therefore Windows NT is not capable of setting the sharing
mode for files on a NetWare server that have the NetWare
"Shareable" attribute set. This attribute is typically used for
files that will be accessed by applications that were not
orignally designed for networking. It is recommended that this
NetWare attribute not be set for files that can be accessed by
16-bit programs that could access these files from Windows NT or
WinFrame. See Microsoft TechNet Article Q139713 for more details.
   [From Hotfix SE17B077]

8. WinFrame servers were unable to authenticate against NetWare 5
servers. The system would "Blue Screen" from having a NetWare 5
   server on the network.
   [From Hotfix SE17B093]

9. For users configured to connect to client printers, the system
froze for several seconds when a user logged on or off.
   [From Hotfix SE17B107]
